When I was briefed on this project, I had no idea I was able to understand the psyche of someone I had absolutely nothing in common with. But learning about the story of Jörg and Kai, two former guards of the Berlin Wall, sparked something in me: a visual metaphor that is undeniably striking. And so, was the concept of “The Wall and Chain” born.
