It’s not every day that you get to write comedy for a comedian. So when this brief popped up at the agency, I fought for it to land on my desk. Because who says you’ve got to be a guy to write about guy stuff? And no, I did not meet Pete. He was dating a certain shape-wear mogul at the time, which made him exceedingly unattainable.
